Stan Lee is the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics. Some of his notable works include Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and X-Men. In the last ten years there have been 30 Marvel Comic movies based on his work. Stan Lee is on top of the world. So, what could possibly be Stan Lee’s pet peeve when he’s doing so many amazing things? Generic on-hold messaging! Take a look for yourself:

The creator of superheroes across the universe can’t stand generic on-hold messaging! What does he hate about it the most? When the messaging says, “Your call is important to us.” This is the frustration of Stan Lee and consumers everywhere. If my call is so important, why are you forcing me to listen to a ukulele solo for 30 minutes, and I’m not interested in ukuleles!


Stan, we feel your pain and vow to end this madness. It’s one thing to tell your customers that their call is important to you. It’s another to show them.
